The Role 💻 – Senior Frontend Engineer
As a Senior Frontend Engineer at prePO, you will architect, develop, and deploy front-end code for novel DeFi applications. You’ll play a pivotal role in building the future of DeFi with us. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in React and the DeFi/Crypto ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Develop clean, reusable, reliable, and high-performance React code.
- Architect and deploy frontend code for complex decentralized applications.
- Ensure a consistent UI/UX, translating wireframes into beautiful, functional interfaces.
- Synchronize smart contract and subgraph data with client-side state.
- Develop functions to interact with smart contracts, writing code that calls blockchain methods.
- Extend and refine frontend Web3 functionality using best practices.
- Participate in high-level architectural decisions for prePO’s front-end systems.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and engineers to deliver a seamless user experience.
- Research and adopt emerging technologies that improve the product or codebase.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a frontend engineer, with a focus on React.
- Excellent ability to write clean, efficient, and reusable React code.
- Strong UI/UX skills, capable of building aesthetically pleasing and intuitive interfaces.
- Experience working with smart contracts and syncing blockchain data with client-side applications.
- Familiarity with Web3 technologies like Wagmi and frameworks such as Next.js and Tailwind CSS.
- Testing proficiency with tools like Jest and ESLint+Prettier for code safety.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Vercel).
- Bonus skills: experience with DevOps or backend engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in frontend Web3 development and understanding of DeFi applications.
- Proven ability to create beautiful UIs from high-level wireframes.
- Familiarity with API synchronization and interacting with smart contract functions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, autonomous environment, delivering results on tight deadlines.
